Soul Scythe character profiles:
Alex Haze:
Alex does not remember his death at 21; in fact, he doesn’t
even know that he was once living. All he knows is that he is a living
soul, and for that reason, he was chosen to become the bounty hunter
of souls. Every night the Reaper must herd the dead souls of sinners
to hell. Although this task seems easy enough, there are rare occasions
that a soul will escape the herd and run wild in the land of the
living. This is where Alex comes in armed with the Soul Scythe, which
only he can control.
Death; a.k.a. Grimm reaper; a.k.a. Azriel:
What ever you want to call him, he is the last person you want to
meet after you die. His job is simple; take all the sinners to hell.
His large minion of small hell demons does most of the dirty work.
Their job is to gather the souls for the Reaper and contain them
till he arrives. The souls that are too quick or too powerful for
the minion are targets of Alex and his Soul Scythe.
Torel (Deaths son):
Torel is the son of the Reaper. He is very young; in human terms
he would be about 15 years old. He is offered small jobs by his dad
from time to time to get him ready to become the next Reaper. Most
of the time he accompanies Alex on his missions.
NEW:
Jax:
Jax is also a living soul and former Soul Hunter. He was banished
by the Reaper after attempting to cook up a scheme to return to the
living. He left the job with a bitter heart and is constantly trying
to disrupt the Deaths design. He has the same powers as Alex but
uses them to gather sinner’s souls to do his bidding in hopes
of on day returning to the living world he left behind.
Sinestra (Sin):
Sin was a damned soul that was recruited by Jax to be his right
hand woman. She had no heart and a soul that’s cold as ice.
When she was alive she was born in to the military. She grew to be
a great soldier and had a taste for taking lives, although she would
never admit it. Jax approached her with the opportunity to work for
him, when she refused; he killed her and controlled her soul anyway.
